Hallo, all!

Just letting you guys know that, no, I am not dead. Hahah... Last week, I came back from Vegas! My parents decided to take me there to celebrate my becoming 21! I gambled (a bit), I drank (a bit- got a Mai Tai!) and overall, I had a great time. I now understand Tobias Funke's desire to become one of the Blue Man Group. I totally want to blue myself.

I have yet to upload pictures from that adventure to my computer, so perhaps I will do so soon. Once I do, expect some updates on DeviantArt. Yayyyy! Unfortunately I have been unable to do so since this week was decidedly "midterm week" at my University. Hahah. Two essays and one exam. I can say at this point, that ~I made it through the wiiilderness, yes I maaaade it throoough!~ although, I do have a reading response and midterm next week, but I'm not as worried about those

Anyway, hope everyone's doing well, and that the Canadians here enjoyed their Thanksgiving!

Such an awesome day, yesterday! and I went down to High Park for the afternoon, after my Pop and Rock class! Got some great shots! I'll be uploading them over the next couple of days.

The exam schedule came out, and my last one is on the 1st of June. It kinda sucks. University shouldn't have to finish this late, but, what can you do? Also, work is starting up in full force as of this weekend.

yeeesh, i'm not very active on here! spring is finally here, and i am ready to drag out the camera again! yay! i went down to the distillery district last sunday, but because i was heading to a concert afterwards, i couldn't take my camera with. the sound academy has pretty strict rules on allowing SLRs. i suppose i could have taken my point-and-shoot, but i hadn't considered it when leaving my house . sara and i decided to go back, so hopefully by the end of the summer, i'll have a set of pictures from there.

so. concert. i went to go see death cab for cutie! they've been my favourite band for a good 5 years or so... so, it was pretty damn exciting to go and see them live. the only thing that sucks about these kinda concerts is the dynamics, in terms of being standing-only. i am short, and often, a really tall dude decides to station himself in front of me. siiiigh. so, that was a bit of a problem, but otherwise, mr. gibbard puts on a great concert. he finished off the set with transatlanticism, which was incredible. uuuugh, i wish i brought along my point-and-shoot! sigh.

oh, has anyone ever read 1984? i just finished reading it, and i am so depressed with the ending... sigh. i loved it though. i think it's my favourite book. leave it to the political science majors to love 1984 i wanna pick up animal farm, now!

school is almost finished - we would have been finished by now if it weren't for the strike -_- ah well. if TAs ever threaten to go on strike, transfer schools hahaha, kidding. don't. work will be starting up as of next weekend, so that's pretty exciting! i got a promotion this year, so i'll be working under my work-bff, who also got a promotion. i got the coordinator position, and she got supervisor. so, i'm expecting longer hours... which will leave me exhausted . regardless, i am excited for that!

man, life has been so hectic lately. since the strike finally ended, everything got pushed into a month worth of school and exam time, together. ahh! otherwise, life has been pretty good to me, i think.

hopefully when all of ... everything settles down, i'll be back and able to start taking pictures again. i'm hoping to get down to high park with at some point, when all of the snow is melted, and everything is pretty

so, i'm back from my cruise. it was tons of fun, and uber relaxing. i got some nice shots, so slowly, i'll be putting the pictures up! i decided to start watermarking my stuff, since a couple of friends told me to. sooo yeah, sorry for that. i know it's annoying, but it's my precaution.

anyway, today's new year's eve! i'm going to =tiikay's house, which should be fun. i hope everyone has a happy and safe new year's eve!
